EverRest offers air conditioners and heat pumps with 13, 14, 16 and 18 SEER capability. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, a measure used by the U.S. Department of Energy to rate the efficiency of air conditioners and heat pumps. The higher the SEER, the greater the efficiency and the lower the operating costs. Compared to 10 SEER units found in many homes, an energy efficient 13, 14, 16 or 18 SEER EverRest Extreme Comfort air conditioner or heat pump can provide significant savings on your electric bill.

If your current air conditioner or heat pump is 10 to 15 years old, the actual efficiency rating could have decreased by 16 to 20%. A 10 SEER unit would now be only 8.4 SEER. This means a new 16 SEER EverRest air conditioner could deliver a 90% improvement in efficiency which would basically cut your cooling costs in half.

Additionally the Ultra-High Performance 16 & 18 SEER models are equipped with a 2-Stage "UltraTech" scroll compressor. This compressor runs at its low speed 80% of the time, which means it is less expensive to operate and provides more consistent comfort with better humidity control.

All EverRest air conditioners and heat pumps are available with  environmently-friendly R410A refrigerant. Either way, a new EverRest Extreme Comfort air conditioner or heat pump will not only keep you cool and comfortable but also save you money.
