Breezair Evaporative Coolers

Evaporative coolers operate on the principle that as water evaporates it draws heat with it. By circulating water over a cooling pad and passing air through it the air is cooled, cooling your home. You direct the air to locations in your home by opening windows and doors. In general, evaporative coolers will lower the temperature approximately 20 - 25 degrees.

Evaporative coolers are efficient in that they use approximately one quarter the energy of an air conditioner. Because they are continually adding fresh air to your home, a complete air change occurs every three to ten minutes. Coolers also help reduce stale air, smoke and odors while maintaining humidity levels, so wood floors and furniture won’t dry out.

Breezair units feature advance technologies with a series of design features that combine to achieve high cooling performance and long life. The quiet, powerful fan in Breezair coolers draws outside air through the Chillcel™ pads which are kept saturated by a patented non-clogging water distribution system. This process absorbs heat through a natural evaporation process, resulting in a cool, refreshing breeze into your home.

Breezair offers three models with a variety of options to fit every home. Their Icon Series is the world’s quietest evaporative cooler with its direct-drive variable-speed motor. The EXV Series is equipped with a belt driven, variable-speed motor to provide the utmost in cooling for your home and the EXT Series provides Breezair’s technologically advanced two-speed motor for dependable operation.

Warranty

All Breezair models have a 25 year warranty against corrosion of the cabinet, a 10 year warranty on the structural integrity of all plastic components against defects in materials and workmanship, a 3 year guarantee on the motor, pumps, electronic components and controls, with a 5 year warranty against de-lamination of their "Chillcel" media pads and 1 year guarantee on all other parts. This is the most extensive warranty in the industry.

Super Thick ChillCel® Pads
Breezair Coolers feature special ChillCel pads at least 90mm thick for maximum evaporation and cooling. Breezair manufactures their pads to match them perfectly to each cooler model for optimum efficiency.

Whisper-Quiet Centrifugal Fan
All Breezair Coolers have a patented, super-quiet centrifugal fan that gives much greater airflow than old-fashioned propeller fans - and with much less noise (perfect for quiet, sleep-filled nights)

Clever SensorTouch® Wall Control
Breezair evaporative coolers feature the new SensorTouch wall controller for simple to understand and simple to use climate control. SensorTouch™ controls utilize advanced microprocessor technology that allows you to adjust programming no matter what the changing climatic conditions.

WATERmiser™
An advanced electronic brain, that ingeniously monitors water quality for impurities that could limit the efficiency of your cooling, and automatically makes adjustments to keep your system clean. Your cooling is more efficient, your ChillCel pads will last longer and you'll use less water, too.

Auto Drain Function
If you don't use your Breezair it automatically drains water away leaving it clean and dry. No algae growth in your tank and no need to climb on the roof to drain your cooler at the end of each summer. This applies to units fitted with a Harmony or Horizon control system.

Breezair's Optional Remote Control
The Breezair Horizon Remote Control -simple to operate yet packed with advanced features you will love to use! Your Breezair remote gives you climate control from any room you like. It has a built-in temperature sensor that checks the temperature in whatever room you're in, then automatically adjusts to your chosen comfort level! The Horizon remote is especially useful at night time. You can adjust your cooling from the comfort of your bed, any time you want.

Icon Series

The World's Quietest and the World’s Most Efficient home evaporative air conditioning system. A super efficient Hushpower motor is integrated with an ultra quiet centrifugal fan, making the Icon Series the quietest air conditioner on the market.

A world first, the Icon's state-of-the-art motor takes the centrifugal fan to new levels, reducing energy use to about 1/3 of a conventional motor. This means that compared to other evaporative coolers, the super efficient Icon Series will cut your running costs to less than half that of a conventional motor. EXV Series

The Breezair EXV is a high performance variable speed evaporative cooler that provides the kind of performance you need for cooling spacious living areas.
