EverRest offers air conditioners and heat pumps with 13, 14, and 16 SEER capability. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, a measure used by the U.S. Department of Energy to rate the efficiency of air conditioners and heat pumps. The higher the SEER, the greater the efficiency and the lower the operating costs. Compared to 10 SEER units found in many homes, an energy efficient 13, 14, or 16 SEER EverRest

If your current air conditioner or heat pump is 10 to 15 years old, the actual efficiency rating could have decreased by 16 to 20%. A 10 SEER unit would now be only 8.4 SEER.
