Lennox Air Handlers

 

An air handler is similiar to a furnace. The difference is an air handler does not have a gas heating section and heat exchanger like a furnace. Instead it includes the evaporative coil needed for air conditioning. It's primary use is to move air in a cooling system, and is generally used in air conditioning only systems.  In special instances an electrical heating element can be added to an air handler to provide supplemental heat to a home.

Air handlers are available in multi-speed and variable speed blower configurations, depending on the requirements of the system design.

Lennox offers air handlers in the Dave Lennox Signature Collection Series, The Elite Series, and the Merit Series.
