Air Products SL-2000 Smoke Detector
WHY YOU NEED THIS SMOKE DETECTOR:
You probably have at least one smoke detector in your home today, which will alert you to smoke in your home. But did you ever stop to think if your furnace is running, the blower motor will circulate the smoke to every room in your home. The Air Products SL-2000 will detect smoke in your duct system and shut your furnace off so the smoke can not circulate throughout your home. It also allows for audible or visual alarms to be triggered alerting you and your family to smoke and possible fire in your home.
PRODUCT APPLICATION:
The SL-2000 Series Smoke Duct Detector is the latest innovation for early detection of smoke and products of combustion present in air moving through HVAC. The unit is designed to prevent the recirculation or spread of smoke by air handling systems, fans, and blowers. Complete systems may be shut down in the event of smoke detection. The SL-2000 is designed and built to meet all local code requirements, as well as the NFPA and ICC standards regarding HVAC supply and return duct smoke detectors. Output terminals are provided for a wide range of remote accessories such as horns, strobes, remote status indicators, and test/reset key switches or push buttons.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The SL-2000 includes many features that represent true innovations from current generation duct smoke detectors. It is available in two models, ionization and photoelectric, depending upon the application and area they are to be used. Aitr Products has developed products with an installer/servicer-friendly approach which has been closely followed and expanded throughout the SL-2000 line.
